Should I accept the change ?

Been thinking of it for a long, its a mix bag of thoughts... With increase use of facebook - personal life, story each day activity has become public.. I also login everyday to see other people update and I get to see in my friend group one or the other got married, visited abroad, new born baby pics, or random pics lol...

Two people sit in same bay get to know about each other from facebook.. Individuals have never known each other but become mutual friends on FB and share personal life.. In a way we are connected and express ourself completely.. and other get to know us in terms of our likes/dislikes.. Birthday/anniversary wishes, mood swings everything is expressed on FB...

I misss archies cards, slam books, personal diaries, pictures captured by those analog camera's :-)

So I think should I accept this change ?? :-)

Matter of Faith

While browsing facebook, came across a picture which was posted in album. The picture had two women from different religion and compasion was done to show the grace by the outlook...

Would not like to mention the religions of those women, The guy who uploaded the picture was trying to show that his religion is graceful. Its good to appreciate your religion but not at the cost of other religion faith or outlook. Why do we want to compare ourselves, comparisions has no end.Was wondering outlook and appearance decide the faith, and the one who was appreciated in the picture was definelty appealing in looks...

I don't know why on earth I can't understand differnces in Religions.. I have nothing against it but why people boost about their faith... Experience create faith, and we all have different experience.

I read a thought on Tantra T-shirt and I truly believe in it - "God is too big to fit in one Religion" When people around talk about religion or differences I feel I am caught in a jail, it gives feeling of closed shell.

I wish we could ever be free like birds or air or rivers ...

Missing old times ...

Today I am sad, and for the first time sharing it openly :-) Always wanted to hide, however no use.. Missing old days, time before joining Sapient.. The fun, laughter, excitement, zeal was different...

When I was in 9th standard I use to get the songs recorded on cassettes and use to dance and now I ve laptop/phone/music system, unlimited internet I don't listen songs..

I use to talk to myself for hours in front of mirror, Now I just see myself early morning once..

I use to love eating dairy milk almost every day.. Now I eat snickers once in few months..

I use to make cards, write, spend time at friend's place ....

Need to bring all of it back !!!!

Too much of work is also bad :-) people use to tell me this, I ignored it everytime..

Time has changed

A forwarded SMS, good one..

1 : Before it was like ' Will meet your tomorrow' and now 'Will meet sometime soon'

2: Before - 'I will never forget this day' and now 'when is your birthday?'

3: Before : We use to give silly reasons to parents to hangout with friends and now give those silly reasons to friends

4: Before : 'I will come right now' and 'Now yeah next time for sure!'

5: Before : We use to cancel everything else two make plans and now we cancel all the plans for everything else

6: Time has changed and some meanings also :

Friends forever and has become friends whatever :-)

I know few are still lucky to continue their friendship and cherishing the same bond !!

However, it is really happening and seen very common around !

Be Serious!!

We have heard these two words numerous of times from our teachers and parents etc in childhood... If I go back and recollect the memories of my school days, I can find number of instances where I use to laugh without reasons, use to be happy in the simplest and smallest of things.. Today happiness and smiles have changed meanings, it is more found in shopping malls, great dinning places, branded clothes, new gadgets, big cars and the list goes on.. Today we find reasons to be happy, to smile..
When I look around, I see everyone is busy struggling with one or the other thing.. We all say life is hard, no one is yours, ha ha ha.. We forget we are also one of them.. Since we have been hearing these two words - "Be Serious" that today, even if we want to laugh with the same freshness of childhood, we can't as we are so busy in creating the perfect world around us..

I am one of those.. So I just thought not to be serious anymore and smile again :-)

Cheers!!

Last four months...

After four months I am back, to share to express and to put my thoughts... Well last four months were crazy, full of different experiences.. It had work pressure, social pressure, family pressure and travel.. Ha ha ha.. September I got to know my track got changed, which was not a good news for me.. I was unhappy about that change due to couple of reasons, It somehow affected my work as well, however the best part is despite all this I managed to perform pretty well in the last quarter of the year. I realised when I saw the number of people I hired in Q4... Well, social and family pressure is obvious :-) where other people want you to get married, its strange.. During the process of finding the right match, experiences were funny, strange, different and wiered at times :-) It was interesting to know different people and their thought process after interacting with them. Nice to see - people showing their best and lie so beautifully. Recruitment gives me lot of opportunity to see variuos characterstics of human beings, but this process was enlightening for me. I definately gained to learn people behaviour. I plan to put it together and share it sometime in the near future..

After Jaisalmer, visited couple of more places in the month of December and January. In November attended recruiting workshop, which was fun with learning. Created couple of video presentations for the team!

Want to share about my recent travel to the centre of the country - Madhya Pradesh. Went to the Bandhavgarh National park and Jabalpur. After visiting mountains, beaches and historical monuments, this was new for me to go for a Jungle safari - we were loaded on a green jeep - it was two hours ride into the jungle in search of tiger. Couldn't see tiger but all other animals, trees and birds :-).. Just got to see the palm print of the tiger on sand.. It was damn cold in the forest.. Next day we went to city - Jabalpur.. There we went to see the popular place known as Bhera Ghaat - River Narmada passing from Marble Rocks - spectacular sight, tasted local food from streets, the regular poha and jalebi - uhhh Yummy.. Khoya jalebi.. kachori.. fulki.. All possible street food... Due to fog the right train got late by 15 hours.. :-0 We came from a different train and missed our office on Monday.. All in all the travel was fun, full of adventure and beautiful sights..

Now I wish to go to Leh-Ladak.. Lets see when I plan it...

September 2009

Well, the month of september offered me travel and a super hectic schedule. Guess all my thoughts and experiences are almost lost, so thought to share the summary of all that I was doing this september. Like last year, this year in September again I was travelling. The month started with a International travel. Attended a wedding of a cousin in Singapore with family. It was a great fun, a different experience. Sikh wedding in one of the Gurudwara of Singapore. It was almost same way from customs standpoint with few minor differences. Wedding took 2 days, after that we visited other places in the country.
Soon after I came back from singapore, travel was planned for bangalore. Its my favorate city and I was visiting it after 8 months. I remember the moment when I reached airport. The weather was mind blowing. When I sat in the cab, I asked the driver to put off the AC and open the glass window. I love it. Had a super hectic stay with official stuff, still managed to visit Ana's place and see her cute little angle. This visit was fun, after 1 hour travel in Auto rickshaw I found her place, but it was worth it. I had super tasty Aloo partha's with mirchi's achaar..
Also in the evening before my flight I met Laxmi at brand factory, offcoarse I quickly bought some stuff for myself while waiting for her... Ha haha..
The month end with a travel to Jaisalmer, stayed at Fort Rajwada, visited Thar desert.. Saw some more forts in the city.. Amazing fun.. Traveled by train, had pakorey, kachori and chai.. I was missing it from a long time, because of by air travels.. I was always fasinated by Rajasthan culture and this time I saw a different city - with all brown architecture..
