September

The month of september started with travel to Bangalore - Haridwar/Rishikesh - Rishikesh - Jaipur.. All four trips were with different set of people, complete fun and full of various experience.

Trip to bangalore was official, though involved a lot of masti, its always fun meeting the bangalore team, as its a small team so invovle a lot of warmth in their behaviour... Went by air, Kingfisher flight - tons of talks with 'N', its always a learning talking to her, she gives a lot of confidence, boost up my morale. Spend time with 'S', another different personality, has a lot of complaints from life, still fighting with life to make things work.... Before meeting him, i thought i most talktive, but he broke my record :-) With that now i feel i m becoming a good listener...

Trip to Haridwar, soon after coming from Bangalore the next weekend I went to Haridwar and Rishikesh, with family... All together a different experience, As the name says -Haridwar stands for Dwar of Hari or Gateway to God.. Haridwar stands for Dwar of Hari or Gateway to God...
It was after years I visited a temple, and experience the "aarti" (offering prayers to God)..
It was a beautiful sight at "Har ki pori"(Bank of the River Ganga) in the evening.. Light all around, cold water flowing at its pace, it was not usual sight for me, Pandit ji with thalli of Aarti's, flowers offered to ganga with the diya's ... Spent a night their and in the morning started for Rishikesh, to visit the Gurudwara, Completely opposite to Haridwar, prayers were offered to God by 'Kirtans', The Gurudwara also had a boys school, where all the students were attending the morning ardaas... spent few hours their and started back for home, and stopped at a Amusement park...

Next weekend was spent at Office for the Hiring event... I mean only satuarday :-)

Last second weekend of the September, at 'Rishikesh' - Known as the gateway of himalyas.. Went for the river rafting with friends... A bunch of old and new friends, in total - a new group.. It was fun meeting all these people at a marvelous place... Stayed in resort, which was on top of mountain in Shivpuri... Open the window, I could see the spectacular sight of the sun rise from the mountains.. sweet music of river flow and a greenry all around... Did trekking, river rafting.. This was for the first time I did river rafting, hope to do it every year now... I experienced the fresh mountain air, Himalayan spring water..

Last weekend was spent at Jaipur, Chowki Dhani... A recreated Rajasthani Village, It means a small village in Rajasthan's local language.. A village created after considering all minute details, we can stay in the beautiful traditional cottages created with the delux facilities... In the evening enjoyed the typical traditional mela- filled with the multiple colors of the state Rajasthan.. It had the folk dance, food, music, camel ride, magicians, astrologer, puppet dance, outlets of Rajasthani jewellery and clothing... All that a girl would loved, and I always loved the rich village culture and folk dances..

So now the month has end, with my travel... In all I experienced new places, new people, new culture... and some beautiful moments, which will be going to remain in my memories...

Home cooked food - new business trend

What happens when dabba-walas meet gourmet cooks? A unique business idea is born :-)
Two young graduates of delhi-based international management Institute, Samarth Gupta and Pavan Kumar Varma, have fused two seemingly opposing ideas - homely meals organised delivery of lunch at offices - to blaze a new trend.

Both the boys came up with a model, created a centrailsed kitchen in East Delhi, invited housewives with a passion for cooking to a contestand then threw open part-time day jobs to talented home cooks looking for recognition.

This initiative was a part of their academic project, where they found out that there is a demand for home-made food. And after identifying the demand they decided to run this competition to spot who cook well. Three venture capital firms have already approached them.

A Bangalore based executive turned home entrepreneur, Sonia Mahanti, runs similar venture that specialises in regional cuisines. She use to work for Samsung, picked up the idea of delievering speciality food after noticing the demand of north Indian food in Bangalore.
She now runs a home made food delivery service that employs around 10 women who are experts in different Indian cuisines.

In Delhi, four women who made it to the top grade in the cookery contest have joined Poshan, which has a base Kitchen at Patparganj. They have arranged a pick-up drop facility for women who come to cook meal.

Now we see the dabba system almost at every office and enjoy the home made food :-)

I loved this SMS...

Most touchy lines said by "true lover" to her "love" while 'break up'
"Out of all your lies you said to me, " I love you" was my favorate one....

Birth is not by choice ...

If birth was by choice, we all could have chosen to take birth in the richest family or with the best looks.. Why is it so difficult for human beings accept who is not as rich as you or good looking as you. Why do we keep filters to talk to somebody based on his/her looks or money in their pockets... Its just a mere chance that we took birth in this family, we could be at their place. People are rejected or ignored because they don't look good, or don't wear good clothes... And preference is given to the good looking people... Why is Abhishek Bachan a great personality, just because he took birth in Amitabh bachan house, he could be anyone.. He must have also gone through hardships, we all go through.. One thing which disturb me the most is the preferance to the people who look good..

We should not be proud of how we look, it is not something we have earned by ourself, it is just a mere chance of our birth... We could have been one of the roadside beggars also... :-)
Remember, Birth is not by choice

Can you answer ?

How would a animal feel while pulling the load cart?
How would a animal in the circus ring feel when asked to perform ?
How would a hen feel when pulled out from the cage to be cut ?
How would a girl from a govt school feel when she see a girl from a rich family?
How would a old parent feel when their children ask them to leave?
How would a mother feel when she is been nagged by her children?
How would a friend feel when the other friend decide to move on?
How would a teacher feel when disrespected by the students?
How would a lover feel when he/she gets to know from his/her partner - I dont feel for you now?
How would a child who lives on the roadside feel when he/she see other kids living a life of luxury?

Life is Echo !

Very commonly said, Life is echo - What we give is what we get from this life... Correct or incorrect I don't know, if this is correct - what about the people who died in the bomb blast.. Innocent people have been killed, with no reasons.. Last week bomb blast attack was a terrible plight. People have been brutalised, hurted, injured and died badly.... I cannot imagine the pain, the families of dead people have gone through... There were small kids, young people, shopkeepers.. Thinking of the moment give the feeling of meaning less life, are living for this day.. Life is uncertain but this uncertainity is horrible..

Last quarter ended Well !!

Just after the meeting with P......., I rushed to collect my stuff, sent some meetings, took the printouts of my tickets and guest house details...Pasted the sticky on my computer screen, for not shutting it down. Went to the food court to order the cake for D's farewell... Collected my bag and went to ramp for the cab, while sitting was ensuring if I am done with most of the things - Met the vendor for the decoration, Video was completed, cards were ready, flowers order was done...

On my way to airport, discussed the moments of meeting with N... We both were very happy and excited to go to banglore and meet rest of the track... We had two days left in the quarter and two days to start for the new quarter.. Though last quarter have been preety tough for me.. Still in the end things went well.. D's Farwell went well, though was not the part not there, but things were in place..
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay with N in Bangalore.. As it was my second visit, So gelling with the team was not a problem.. Infact we were very much part of the team.. On saturday went to MG Road, wow... is my expression for the crowd there.. It made me feel that i got old.. The most fashionable college students... I liked the place.. Bought couple of books.. Sunday went to Indranagar... We flew back on Wednesday Morning..

N took a breath of satisfaction as she was back in North India, was missing the food.. :-)

Just after two days, Bhai came.. He landed on saturday... On sunday we went to Haridwar.. It was again a pleasant, fun filled short trip.. My visit to Haridwar was almost after 12 years.. I hardly can recollect few memories of my last visit. It was good outing for the complete family..

All my way and visit, been thinking of my blog :-)

Thinking what all i ll be writing :-)
