8 Year old girl in Gurudwara
I am not very fond of Keertan, I like to listen in the morning or before sleeping, however not very regular for it. Last satuarday my mom insisted me to go to Gurudwara, I was enjoying the roadies last episode... She got furious to see my watching the show and not getting ready for the Gurudwara... I finished the show and dressed up for the Keertan. Somehow I avoid going to Gurudwara, as have to meet relatives or neighbour, who all have one question " when are you getting married"... Can't understand what is their interest in it.. Anyways... In the near by Gurudwara Once in month Keertan and huge langar is conducted... The Gurudwara committee arrange it.. They call the popular Jatha each month for the keertan... This time they called the jatha which has 16 kids, age group 5-13 yrs.. It started with the Shabad sung by the 8 year old girl.. "Sachey sahib kya nahi ghar tere" - There is nothing which is not available at God's home? ... Shabad in a whole ment that What is that God cannot offer to us from his place.. We keep on asking and are not tired of.. I know this is said by everyone.. Don't know probably her voice when sung these lines.. I cried, tears came out of my eyes. I felt the same, that how much I have been asking from God - Day and night... my desires are just not ending... I sat for two hours listening to all Shabads... Courtesy to Mom :)

was just running thru ur blog..listening to shabads becomes so touching at times..i mean i remember when i went to hemkunt sahib last..was just thinking..listening to shabads and i was crying and i couldnt stop..that too when am not too religious..wht do u say ?
Yeah true, Shabads have the power to touch our heart, with the increasing materialism... we are entering into the layer of unhappiness.. So Shabads or any kind of meditation is like a relax pill for our soul...
