Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP)

Each year, Microsoft gives out an award called the Microsoft MVP (Most Valuable Professional) Award to outstanding members of a Microsoft online Developer Forum. The MVP Award is given in recognition of a recipient's technical expertise, spirit of community, and their willingness to help their peers by providing reliable and accurate answers to technical questions about Microsoft products & technologies.
"MVP" is an Award System to recognize and award the top individual contributors in relevant peer-to-peer areas. The MVP Team Managers and Buddies are the link that MVPs have with Microsoft, and they assist the MVPs as needed as well as help them in their efforts to contribute valuable information in the online forums. Influential online peer-to-peer assistance areas exist for all Microsoft products and technologies. MVPs voluntarily share their technical knowledge within the online communities. The contributions of MVPs help the online areas to become more valuable resources for Microsoft customers and potential Microsoft customers.
